Happy 4th of July everyone! My mum, Meme, is here visiting us from Sydney and it has been great to have her here! Zachary smiled right away when he saw her and when she said "pussygato" he waved his special wave (mum has one of those Chinese plastic cats in her backyard that waves whenever the wind blows and Zachary first learned how to wave by waving at him). Mum's been talking to him in Spanish which is great and you should have seen Zev's face when Zachary asked for "agua" and pointed to his sippy cup at dinner!
Today we grilled burgers and had burgers with corn on the cob and potato salad for 4th of July dinner. After dinner, Zev and I went and watched White House Down as the local cinemas were having free entry to active duty military and their dependents. This summer weather is awesome. Have I mentioned lately how much I love the summer?! Take care :-)
