It was great to visit Zev and my old stomping ground- the quaint little Blue Mountains town of Glenbrook, and to visit our friends who still live there...

One of my favorite things about visiting Australia is flying over Sydney, especially Sydney Harbour. This is a picture of the southern beaches I think, as I was on the wrong side of the plane to see the harbour. It was a beautiful day to fly out of Australia too!

Zev exploring some unusual places!! 

G'day everyone! Here are some recent pictures of Zev in Iraq. Zev is working hard and doing well, which is great to hear. I (Fi) am looking forward to catching up with all my dear family and friends next week in Australia- I can't wait!!!!!! Hope that everyone is doing well......

The accommodation areas are blocked into trailers that are protected by cement walls. Two trailers to a section, two people per trailer. Sandbags around each trailer as well.
 

Zev's living space for the next four months..... 

Zev is officially in Iraq and is doing well. He is getting settled into life and the routine of things over there. Fifi is very proud of her darling Zev...... 

Fiona visited dear friends, Scott, Tina, Emily, Jack and Matthew in San Antonio over the Labor Day long weekend and had a lovely time seeing the beautiful sights of San Antonio (including the Alamo!!), and experiencing great Mexican food, great company and a great time.

Nothing exciting happening around here- just a huge oak tree branch falling in our backyard and flattening our pergola!! 

Our pergola, which was actually blown away when the remnants of Hurricane Katrina flew past Shreveport this time last year, was WELL AND TRULY flattened by the tree branch falling smack bang on top of it!!!
