In true Southern tradition, we had a deep fried Turkey for Christmas dinner. Deven and Dave did an excellent job at frying the Turkey which was absolutely delicious as it had been "injected" with a creole marinade that Zev made the day before. When you deep fry a Turkey you do not eat the skin, only the tender meat inside.
Christmas 2004 was very special for Zev and I, as it was our first Christmas together as a married couple and to top it off we had the York family together for Christmas Day! Zev's parents, Dave and Judy arrived at our house first and it was wonderful to spend some time with them, showing them the sights and sounds of Montgomery and experiencing Zev's fabulous cooking! Zev's brother, Deven, his wife Lauren and their three children David, Will and Emily arrived on Christmas Eve and we shared a lovely Christmas at home.
Mario and Gabby's wedding was absolutely beautiful and it was an honour for me to be part of their wedding party. The whole day was magnificent with beautiful weather and gorgeous views from the chapel in Watson's Bay. Mario and Gabby looked stunning and so in love and Zev and I wish them all the very best for their future married life together and for their new home in Perth. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Paroli!!!
